Course Description:

Many of you will know that Carron Valley is not by any means a walk in the park, it can be quite demanding, especially for the smaller teams, however the breathtaking scenery makes it worth the effort. The trail takes a long uphill from the start, followed by a long downhill with one or two sharp bends. The surface for the first 2 miles is hard packed and is wide enough for passing. The trail returns along the side of the reservoir (nice views!) and can be wet in places. The second half of the trail is mostly flat, with a short hill just before the finish.
