Harwood

From The South:

A1 just past Newcastle-upon-Tyne, A696 towards Ponteland. The road continues through Ponteland, through Belsay and on until you come to the Knosegate Inn and petrol station on the righthand side. Turn right, follow the road until the end to a T-junction; turn left, follow the road to the next turning and take a left turn. This road should be signposted towards Elsdon. Just after the village turning for Harwood, follow ABSA signs into the forest.

From The North:

At the junction of the A68 and the A696 signposted into Otterburn, follow the A696 through Knosegate, which will be on the left-hand side, a turning just before the inn, proceed with directions from the South.

From The North & South:

Take the A696 to the B6342 Cambo/Rothbury turn off (also sign posted to Wallington Hall). Stay on this road for 5 miles (passing through Cambo), here the road forks, turn left following the signs for Harwood. The entrance to the forest is on the right after about 1 mile. The route to the rally site will be marked form here.

Course One Description:

Forestry Commission weatherproof drained gravel; approximately 10ft wide, also (weather permitting) wide grass trails. This is a relatively undulating course, no large hills. Dog boots should be worn if you know your dogs are prone to tender pads as this course has some fast sections included in it.
