Course Description:

This area of the forest offers a wide range of surfaces from packed earth to sand stretches and grass trails. Tentsmuir is generally made up of main forest roads, grass firebreaks and sand surfaces allowing for a varied trail, suitable for all. Some road sections can be quite hard under frosty conditions at certain times of the year, which will be kept to a minimum.Follow the signs along the main tarmac road heading for the public car park. The race site will be well sign posted from there.Due to the layout of the forest, it is sometimes necessary to run the race over part of the access road, which means that the road may be closed during classes. Verify this prior to the race weekend!
