From Junction 10 M40 or Junction 15A M1:

Take the A43 to Brackley. At Brackley take the A422 towards Buckingham. After about 4 miles turn left at the cross roads, which has Cayla Kennels on the right hand side (Stowe is signposted form here) and follow the signs for Stowe Landscape Gardens. The venue is in front. Once in the parkland continue past the public school to the parking area,

Course Description:

The majority of the course has many twists, and winds its way around the ancient monument, lawns and Gaedens, with the finish being on a dirt track. The surfaces vary, being mainly hard packed footpaths, grass and an ascent with a little loose stone in places, but not excessive (boots should not be necessary). Not a difficult course, but one the dogs should love.

Notes:

These gardens are reputed to be one of the best in the coutry, welcoming tens of thousands of visitors each year. The National Trust are planning for this to be a large Christmas event with the public spectating. No idea of numbers, but consider that thousands will attend, as this events will be publicised. Merchandising will be welcomed from within the Club, a small charge will be made by SHCGB. Father Christmas could be in attendance. This is a good events to publicise our club and gain goodwill. Independant marshalls will be used to control the public and car parking. We are unable to accept entries later than detailed on the main events pages, or any changes. A schedule will be produced for the event.
